Chandra Baidya
Welcome to my homepage. I’m a master’s student in Data Science at Technische Universität Dortmund and currently a Portfolio & Quantitative Analyst at RWE. With 5+ years in Python & full-stack and 3+ years in data science, I’m seeking roles as a Data Scientist, Engineer or Software Engineer.
During my academic journey, I had the opportunity to serve as a Teaching Assistant in multiple courses, including Advanced Statistical Learning, Big Data Analytics, Statistical Learning for Big Data, and Probabilistic Reasoning for Machine Learning. In this capacity, my primary responsibilities revolved around conducting exercise sessions and grading exercise sheets.
Prior to my teaching experience, I accumulated over five years of professional expertise as a Software Engineer in diverse software and industrial companies. Throughout my tenure, I actively worked with Python, gaining proficiency in the language and acquiring a comprehensive understanding of software development practices.
Additionally, I held the position of Assistant Project Manager at ITM System LLC for three years, where I successfully managed projects and contributed to their successful execution. More recently, as part of my studies, I undertook a project focusing on time series anomaly scoring using LSTM models. By following established data science methodologies, I performed crucial tasks such as data cleaning, integration, transformation, selection, projection, data mining, visualization, and evaluation.
